Welcome to the Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), run by The Hypnotherapy Academy. Whether you intend to learn Hypnotherapy and NLP to become a specialist Hypnotherapist, to supplement your existing professional skills, or simply for self-development purposes, this one, comprehensive course offers everything you need to do so.

This diploma course has been Assessed and Accredited at Practitioner Level by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK). Graduates from this course are eligible for professional registration with the General Hypnotherapy Register at full Practitioner status.

This course also meets the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy and graduates are eligible for fast-track application to register with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the profession's voluntary regulator.

The course totals 450 hours over 6 months, divided into 16 training days and 12-13 hours per week study consisting of coursework, practice sessions and further reading. Training days are 1 weekend usually every 4 weeks, plus 2 additional Fridays and each day works with a specific subject area in detail:-

• explanation and demonstrations in a group setting
• practicals for students to practise one-to-one under observation
• comprehensive manual containing everything taught during the training day

Following training weekends, students complete homework and reading assignments to ensure they have understood the training and are confident developing the skills. Practising methods taught is essential and students will also carry out a number of practise sessions each week. Your trainer will provide any additional guidance required and there are NO EXAMS to take as competency is assessed on an on-going basis throughout the course.

You will develop the skills to be able to confidently and ethically treat clients for a wide range of issues, decide which techniques will be most beneficial, why and how to use them, how to write scripts and how to work without scripts, as well as learn what you need to know to enable you to begin running your own Practice immediately upon graduation of the course.
